Translucent light blue Jeremejevite crystal on matrix. A thick crystal for Jeremejevite and is the main feature of this specimen, but there is more. The matrix is said to be a species of Tourmaline and you can see other hollow areas in the matrix where other Jeremejevites were formerly located before they etched away. There are other small Jeremejevites and partial crystals clinging to the sides of the hollowed out parts of the matrix. Very interesting specimen of both scientific and aesthetic interest, valued at $300-$400.
