Large single Epidote crystal from this locality most famous for its abundance of large, red Andradite garnet.
The Epidote here can also get very good and of large size. This specimen is a good sized, hefty crystal complete
all around but with one flat area where it contacted another crystal. There are patches of Palygorskite on this area
and the Epidote on this area shows a myriad of tiny crystal faces. Dark green in color, with light green areas on the
thin edges when backlit.
