Rich blue Tourmaline, crystals of this color being refered to as 'Indicolite', one of the most desirable of all the Tourmalines. Wonderfully translucent and colorful with just the slightest backlighting. And it's not a typical single Tourmaline 'stick', the termination is intergrown with and unidentified tan colored crystalline mineral. I bought this crystal about five years ago - this color does not get found often. Weighs 10.2 grams.
