Spessartine

Complete orange Spessartine from recent finds in Tanzania. Most found were partial crystals or at least had a few dings. This one is complete and symetrical though somewhat flattened, with just one small area of irregular growth on one face. Additionally, most had black inclusions of Hematite or Braunite - this crystal is nearly free of these black inclusions which tend to darken the crystal - when backlit this crystal glows a bright translucent orange.
