Gem quality Kyanite is very uncommon. That along with it's soft and brittle composition makes finding a cut gemstone
uncommon. Nepal produces not only gem quality Kyanite, but Kyanite in a stunning deep blue color. This stone weighs in at 6.5 carats
and has amazingly bright blue color and typical color zoning of Kyanite. This stone was recently faceted in Thailand.
