Deep blue Benitoite crystals on matrix. Interestingly, the main crystal is etched on the largest face. What makes this specimen special is the deep blue color, and mostly the luster - rarely do Benitoite crystals have great luster as this specimen. Also main crystal reaches and impressive 2.7cm in size. A small crystal at lower left is damaged at one tip, and the tip of the large crystal appears to have grown against schist on the opposite side of the pocket it formed in.
