Japan Law twin Quartz with light smokey coloration mined by a local collector about 5 years ago. Of the handful of good Japan-law twins recovered, this one was the very best. The crystals are flat and tabular and thicker than most found, with scepter growth on the right twin. Transparent and glassy on the front faces but with bits of mica attached to the backside which makes them appear less transparent in the photos than they actually are. Complete and undamaged. Original list price was $200.
