Quartz with Schorl

Unusual specimen of stacked, double-terminated Quartz crystals that appear to have grown around a Schorl crystal. When backlit you can see a dark shadow running up the center of the Quartz crystal that appears to be a Schorl crystal. There are also attached Feldspar and Muscovite crystals.There is one point of contact on part of the bottom, otherwise fully crystallized all around and undamaged. A strange one!
