Large partial V-twin crystal of Diaspore. It is unterminated or etched terminated, as most of these are, and is translucent with transparent zones.This is rare material from old stocks in Turkey, no more is being found as the deposit has been exhausted. Large Diaspore crystals such as this are uncommon. Valued at $500 for it's rarity and enormous size.
