Impressive, large specimen of purple/red Almandine garnet crystals exposed in a schist matrix from the well known Wrangell Island locality. There are 4 exposed crystals to 2.1cm wide, and possibly more garnets within the schist. Saw cut on base. This was listed at $400 in my regular website galleries.
