A very well prepared specimen of fossil Ammonite from Madagascar. The Ammonite is the species Nostoceras malagasyense and dates back to the Cretaceous period, about 70 million years ago. The fossil has be well exposed from the surrounding siltstone and sits up perfectly for display, good from both sides. Undamaged.
