Exquisite specimen of Pyrite finely coating fossil brachiopods from Indiana. This was found in the Waldron Shale formation and the fossils date back to the Silurian period. The fine detail and quality is outstanding, this a a fabulous piece for a mineral or fossil collector. there are even tiny cubes of Pyrite crystals on some of the shells.
