Very rich Svanbergite specimen composed of nothing but interlocking crystals of Svanbergite, one small Quartz crystal, and micro Rutile crystals. This is an excellent example for the species. Svanbergite is an uncommon Strontium Aluminum Phosphate Sulfate Hydroxide mineral. The Champion Mine is a former andalusite mine located in the White Mountains of eastern California and first operated in 1922. Besides Svanbergite, it is famous for it's Rutile crystals and Woodhousite specimens, for which it is the Type locality.
