Tan crystals of Woodhouseite on Quartz from the Champion Mine in California. The specimen is loaded with crystals (much of the specimen is solid Woodhousite crystals!), some reaching 5mm, which is good sized for the species. The Champion Mine is a former andalusite mine located in the White Mountains of eastern California and first operated in 1922. This is the Type locality for Woodhousite.
