This rare variety of yellow color Smithsonite is known as 'Cadmium Smithsonite'. The element Cadmium gives it this color.
These are uncommon at Mapimi and this was the best one out of only a small handful available. It is damage free with only minor
contact at the edges where it was separated from matrix. A must for a complete Mapimi suite.
