Cris-crossing Quartz crystals known as 'Gitter Quartz' (a German name for fence or lattice Quartz). The Quartz crystals form epitaxially on an elongated single Feldspar crystal in a lattice of crystals. The Feldspar crystal on this specimen appears to have completely pseudomorphed to Quartz. The Erongo Mountains is the one of the only localities that produces this style of unusual Quartz specimens.
