Cuprite

Transparent single Cuprite crystal from the famous Red Dome mine, considered by many to have produced the world's best Cuprite specimens. The crystal is a partial cube and though not perfect, it lights up like a piece of red glass when backlit - it's entirely transparent! Weighs 76 carats, but likey would not cut a major, clean gemstone due to internal imperfections.
