Sceptered Quartz crystal from early finds in the Jinkouhe District of China. A clear, colorless scepter formed atop a single smokey Quartz crystal (the color distinction is much more evident in person). A doubly-terminated Quartz is attached to one side of the scepter. Complete and undamaged fine crystal. A very bright and glassy crystal which is not captured too well in the photos - much better in person! Old specimen from the John Dabney collection.
