Cris-crossing Quartz crystals known as 'Gitter Quartz' (a German name for fence or lattice Quartz). The Quartz crystals form epitaxially on an elongated single Feldspar crystal in a lattice of crystals. Most of the Feldspar is completely covered by the Quartz, even on the ends. The Erongo Mountains is the only locality I'm aware of that produces this style of unusual Quartz specimens.
