Specimen of transparent, stepped, cubic Fluorite crystals attached to Quartz crystals. This one has lots of character! The Fluorite cluster is 3cm wide, light blue/green, transparent, and undamaged. The first generation Quartz is a larger single crystal that detached in the pocket. Later, smaller transparent Quartz crystals grew off each end of the larger Quartz, including small Quartz crystals grown right on the tip of the larger Quartz! Additionally there are some small attached Calcite crystals. A complete undamaged floater. Ex. Dr. Steven Morehead collection.
