Single rootbeer brown crystal of Dravite from Slovenia. A non-terminated six-sided prism that is translucent to transparent. This crystal is from the historic locality of Dobrova which is currently located in Slovenia, but at the time of the discovery of Dravite, was part of Austria. This is the Type locality for Dravite, which was named in 1883 for the Drau River (Drave) which flows near Dobrova.
