Large, satiny mass of translucent Smithsonite from Broken Hill. The Smithsonite is 2.7cm wide which is large for the locality that typically produced smaller 'rice-grain' sized Smithsonite. The Smithsonite is translucent and complete all around and sits on a matrix of a partial Coronadite stalactite. Fine and undamaged. Ex. Carl Acosta collection.
