Black cube of Bixbyite on a partial Topaz crystal. Bixbyite was named after Maynard Bixby, a collector and mineral dealer who collected minerals in the Thomas Range. The Maynard Mine is the Type locality for the species. The Bixbyite cube is 5mm in size.
