Single translucent purple Fluorite crystal from the Surprise Mine in New Mexico. The Fluorite has stepped surface growths, color zoning, and good translucency. This specimen was mined in 2014. A brief description of this find was presented in Tom Moore's report in the Jan/Feb 2015 issue of the Mineralogical Record.
