Bright, metallic cluster of Hematite from the Rodrigo Silva district in Brazil. The Hematite occurs as parallel-growth, hexagonal crystals forming what is known as an 'Iron Rose'. The specimen is complete all around with minor edge wear and some contacting on one side with bright, mirror-lustrous faces on front and back with more matte luster along the edges. This is old stock purchased in Brazil by dealer Steve Perry back in the 1990s.
