Bright, metallic cluster of Hematite from the Rodrigo Silva district in Brazil. The Hematite occurs as parallel-growth, hexagonal crystals forming what is known as an 'Iron Rose'. The specimen is complete all around with minor edge wear and bright, mirror-lustrous faces on front and back with more matte luster along the edges. This is old stock purchased in Brazil by dealer Steve Perry back in the 1990s. The camera picks up more red color than you notice in person - in your hand it's a bright silvery metallic, flashy group of crystals. Valued at $250.
