Large specimen of lustrous Garnet crystals from the Garnet Hill locality in California. The matrix is massive Andradite with areas of shiny Andradite crystals and green Epidote. Interestingly, on partial crystals you can see layers of green where the Andradite is has psuedomorphed to Epidote. Crystals reach 1.9cm wide.
