Translucent blue crystals of Liroconite on matrix with crystals to 8mm in size. There are more small areas of crystals on the sides too. Liroconite is a rare copper species with the best specimens found at this mine, which is also the type locality for the species. Wheal Gorland began operation in 1792 and the best Liroconite specimens were found in the mid 1800s. There are some dinged crystals but rare with good color.
