Fine quality cluster of translucent Azurite crystals from the Volborthite pocket of the Milpillas Mine. The Azurite from this area of the mine are distinctive tabular crystals that occur on a white matrix with spheres of Malachite. The crystals on this specimen reach 2.2cm wide and are in pristine condition. Highly translucent with backlighting and even in regular lighting you can see a blue glow on the white matrix from light passing through the crystals.
