Sharp, intergrown crystals of translucent to transparent yellow Amblygonite from Brazil. Amblygonite is a rare lithium-aluminum phosphate species that is not commonly seen in fine display quality crystals. This crystal has large, flat faces and areas of gem transparency. These are not commonly seen and I bought the entire pocket that was available at this year's Tucson show. A rarity for a thumbnail collector or gem crystal collector. Valued at $200.
