An unusual Arkansas Quartz specimen out of an old collection dating back to the 1980s or earlier. We are all familiar with the clear Quartz clusters from Arkansas, but rarely do they occur on Albite. And the Albite on this specimen is also interesting, having formed as casts after blocky crystals of a now gone mineral. The Quartz crystals are glassy and perfect and well centered on the Albite.
