Red Almandine garnet crystals to 1.5cm in a black schist matrix. While most garnet in schist specimen have the occassional garnet, this one is so loaded with crystals is at least half garnet/half schist. Comes with an old Harry Searing label. Out of an old collection built in the 1970s-80s.
