Rare single crystal of Diaspore. These are occassionally found by prospectors digging in old Bauxite mines in Turkey and are easily the world's best for species. This is a gemmy crystal, not terminated like most, with a golden yellow color. Transparent enough in areas to cut small gemstones. Weighs 25 carats.
