Mounded crystal group of Prehnite from the Merelani Tanzanite mines. The specimen is yellow to green/blue in color and is composed of excellent crystals. It's a little light in color but the crystals are superb and it forms a uniform, rounded mound of crystals. Most worldwide Prehnite is botryoidal or forms crusts and layers - Merelani produces some of the world's best crystals of Prehnite. This undamaged cluster of well-formed crystals is a great example.
