crystal group of the vanadium and chromium rich Grossular Garnet known as Tsavorite. This variety was discovered in east Africa in 1967 and named by Tiffany & Co. for the nearby Tsavo National park. Vivid, radiant green color makes this specimen good color for Tsavorite, with bright, glassy crystal faces make this a nice thumbnail sized specimen. With attached Graphite on back.
