Blue to white crystals of rare Lawsonite in a Glaucophane schist matrix. This one is loaded with Lawsonite - in fact it's mostly all Lawsonite with areas of schiset between the Lawsonite crystals (rather than the normal schist with scattered crystals of Lawsonite). Old specimen from the Type locality for the species, collected by Chuck Trantham back in 1968. Rare stuff! Ex. Chuck Trantham. Valued at $100.
