A layer of Quartz crystals running along one side of a rock matrix. Abundant Gold is mixed among the Quartz and is present for the entire length of the specimen. Gold mining in Brad dates back to Roman times and the town, which dates back to 1445, was developed around the mine. The town now hosts a Gold Museum. Valued at $200.
