Transparent single yellow crystal of Thaumasite, a rare mineral species related to Ettringite and Sturmanite found in the Kalahari Manganese fields of South Africa. These were found in the 1990s and I used to be able to buy them many years ago from South African dealer Clive Quiet until supplies dried up. I was fortunate to find this crystal recently from someone who had also bought this from Clive Quiet and stockpiled it until now. It's a complete, undamaged single crystal with great luster and total transparency and partially double terminated. A rare, now hard to find gem quality crystal.
