Here's a beautiful, large display specimen of purple Axinite crystals, large clear Quartz crystals, and green Epidote from the premier California locality for Axinite. Specimens were found here in 1981 during construction of a spillway at the reservoir. This specimen features a large 4.5cm transparent Quartz crystal in perfect condition surrounded by blades of purple Axinite. Green Epidote adds more color. There is is even Axinite and Epidote included within the Quartz. Ex. Len Pisciotta collection. Valued at $400.
