Large heavy specimen of Silver ore from the famous Cobalt mining region in Canada. I obtained this decades ago from a Canadian miner in a large lot of similar specimens. Many of the pieces showed native Silver sheets in areas, however on this one I cannot see any free Silver. It's heavy for it's size and the central core seems to be high in metal. Pink Cobalt mineralization can be seen in areas on the surface. Weighs 11.4 ounces.
