Benitoite

Single Benitoite with near 'textbook' form and Crossite inclusions. Benitoite is the only mineral that crystallizes in the trigonal bipyramidal form, a form that was only hypothesized prior to it's discovery. Here you have a perfect example of the rare form (and a rare mineral). There is one natural step growth on the back of one corner, otherwise is perfectly symetrical on both sides.
