Cluster of deep blue Azurite crystals with a minor amount of Malachite. This is from what is called the Watercourse Pocket of the mine which produced some of the best specimens ever found there. Specimens from this pocket were composed of interlocking, lustrous crystals. Many were detached floaters and most had small needle-like crystals of Malachite attached to one side. This specimen is a floater crystallized all around and nearly undamaged with one of the lesser crystal broken at one end. But even that crystal is neat because it shows the Malachite interior that gives these crystals the bright blue coloration.
