Complete 'citrus' orange Spessartine crystal from old finds in Tanzania. These were mostly found as partial or damaged crystals with complete crystals such as this much less common. Excellent form with a few small surface nicks but no significant damage. Translucent with great color, there are some darker areas but also areas of superb gem transparency. This one also has two partially included mica crystals on one side. Weighs 26.85 grams. Valued at $300-$400.
