Complete 'citrus' orange Spessartine crystal from old finds in Tanzania. These were mostly found as partial or damaged crystals with complete crystals such as this much less common. Equant form with no significant damage - I found a couple insignificant small edge chips. It has some black inclusions, but also bright orange areas and backlighting shows transparent areas within. Weighs 33.54 grams (about 167 carats).
