Octahedral crystal of deep cobalt blue Spinel. These were first discovered in 2001 and are found mostly of industrial quality. Though they don't get very large, the color is spectacular. This is a mostly complete crystal with good overall form though some small chips. Translucent with transparent gem zones. Studies have shown these to be very high in Zinc and could be labelled as Gahnite.
