Octahedral crystal of deep cobalt blue Spinel. These were first discovered in 2001 and are found mostly of industrial quality.
Though they don't get very large, the color is spectacular. This crystal is not complete, but it's on the upper end of the size range
for this find. Translucent to transparent. Studies have shown these to be very high in Zinc and could be labelled as Gahnite.
