Fossil tree sap containing 3 well preserved wood boring insects. Really interesting under magnification! Like amber, copal is fossilzed tree sap,
though younger in age. This copal is from the tree species Hymenaea verrucosa and believed to be from the Quaternary Period.
Smooth and well polished all around.
