Fossil tree sap containing a large number of well preserved flying insects. This one is very special - not only are there flying insects, but also
a large 1.3cm cockroach like bug. Like amber, copal is fossilzed tree sap,
though younger in age. This copal is from the tree species Hymenaea verrucosa and believed to be from the Quaternary Period.
Smooth and well polished all around.
