Specimen of Barite with large crystals of Barite to 2.2cm in size. Well formed, undamaged crystals that are translucent to transparent.
These are from a Fluorite and Barite vein discovered in 1912 located high in the San Juan Mountains at an elevation of 8,390 feet, later developed
as the Colorado Fluorspar Mine.
