Gemmy pink scalenohedral rhodochrosite crystals with a few small hexagonal red-orange shigaite crystals that are best seen with the aid of magnification. Shigaite is a very rare aluminum manganese sulfate. An excellent example of both species from one of South Africa's classic localities. Old label shows a price of $465.
